Adding an electronic signature to Netscape 6.x:

To add an electronic signature, you must first create one in a text file. This example uses the Notebook program to create a signature.


Now, with the Account Settings window of Netscape6 Mail open (from the Edit” menu select Mail/News Account Settings”), select the account you want to add a signature to. Next, click the “Attach this signature” checkbox. Click the “Choose” control to open the file selector window where you can select the text file that is to become your signature.


When the file selector window opens, browse to the folder where the signature file is located. Select it and click “Open” to make this the default signature for this account.
